I have beaded for over thirteen years and foresee that it will always be a part of who I am. About six years after graduating from college, I opened my own business (Beads To Live By in Jackson, Michigan) with my husband, Christopher. With endless help from my mother, Starman TrendSetter Sheila Schanne, we write and illustrate our own patterns, teach classes, and sell lots of beautiful beads! My love affair with the arts includes drawing and painting, and traveling soothes my soul and brings new life to my creativity.
