I am both a bead artist and a scientist, and I specialize in geometric beaded structures. I've been a crafty person as long as I can remember, but I found my fascination with geometry exquisitely expressed through modular geometric origami. I turned to beadwork for a creative outlet while completing a rigorous doctoral program in biochemistry, and soon applied the principles of geometric origami to beads. I love to experiment with newly developed bead shapes. With a strong foundation as a trained academic, I share my beading ideas through writing detailed patterns and teaching.
