Stephanie Maloney is a retired college professor. The sights, sounds, and colors of Brazil, where she served in the Peace Corps, and Portugal, where she worked as an archaeologist for thirty years, are continuing influences on her work. After retirement, she began learning off-loom beadweaving, but soon found herself drawn to the loom. Now a designer and self-professed loom addict, she gives lessons at bead shows and in her home and co-owns Good Bead Stuff, which provides unusual findings, seed beads, and her looms.
