Sue Charette-Hood is an award winning Canadian jewelry artist living in Texas and has been designing/teaching for a number of years. She works with many different jewelry media but "no-glue" kumihimo and bead weaving are her loves. Sue teaches at bead retreats, societies and stores across North America, and has been published in DVDs and magazines twenty two times since 2011. She is a 2014 Designer of the Month for Sonoran Beads Silver Silk line and 2014 Designer of the Year for Ritzy Too digital magazine. She is a devoted instructor and delights in sharing with students and watching them bloom in their artistic journeys. Her engaging classes are designed with pleasure and success in mind, enthusiastically guiding techniques while allowing for self discovery and individualization. Sue is married with two daughters and works a day job as an ultrasound technologist.
